Intensive English Summer camps begin in a few short weeks. There are still spaces available, but don’t delay as some terms are already unavailable Check the camps sections for current room availability.

Praha, CZ May 18 2009 – Aaada English announced the release of the long-awaited DVD “The Earth is a Paradise Island - Stevie Rue’s Songs for Teaching English.” As a collection of songs for teaching, learning and singing along, the new disc features animations and video which actively illustrate the richness and pleasure of learning to communicate in a new language. Children, parents and teachers will enjoy using the songs to learn with the help of English, Czech, or German subtitles. It is available right here in the Aaada Shop. You may order it over the telephone or by email. The price is 400 Kč plus shipping.

Aaada will be putting on a live music party to celebrate the release of The Earth is a Paradise Island DVD. All families with children are welcome.

The party will be taking place on 11 June from 16:00 until 19:00 in the former Aaada School, Hloubětínská 26, Prague 9. The entrance fee is 100 Kč or free with the purchase of the new DVD. Call to reserve a space at 281 864 128 or email aaada@aaada.cz.

Dear families and children, The most important news in Aaada is that the organization of the annual intensive English Summer Camps for children with parents is just getting underway. This year Aaada is presenting the 9th year under the title of Paradise Island, Intensive English Camp. In the camps section you’ll find information, dates and a link to download an application with prices. In the near term there will be more ‘Intensive English Weekends’ in Sazava for children with parents. Just like summer camp, it’s for children from 2 to 10 years.

Aaada is pleased to announce the 9th year of intensive English summer camps, which began in 2000 in the natural surroundings of Poustky, nearby the beautiful village of Rabštejn nad Střelou, a UNESCO protected site. The camps are designed to teach language to young children along with their parents.

Dear parents and children, We send you warm regards from Aaada. Steve has returned from a well-earned vacation in America, and is once again at the helm. You must be aware that regular classes were discontinued, but everyone is back at work at Aaada on projects that will take us into the future.

We want to thank participants of the Aaada summer camp 2008, hoping you enjoyed it enough to start making plans for the next one in 2009. Have a look on the Camps page starting in February 2009 for details and to download an application.

At present Steve is bringing his songs and language training to schools around Prague and is available for any preschool or primary school that is looking for a proven and highly effective method to spark interest in english. Cooperation with Baby English in Ostrava continues, where for several years Aaada English Weekend courses have had success helping very young learners of English.

Dear parents, Aaada English School for Children has been going for you nearly 9 years. During this time many parents and children have passed through our foreign language instruction through play, song, and varied activities with your participation and cooperation. We demonstrated the important role sharing plays in the education of your children. At Aaada, many children learned to sing and speak english at an early age, often with correct intonation, rhythm and pronunciation.

Courses will end in Hloubětín: Everything evolves, Aaada included. We are currently beginning to work with pre-schools and grade-schools regarding the adoption of our method of teaching English. We will begin to train teachers to utilize our songs and materials with individuals and whole classrooms. We’ll take our teaching system out to the world. Perhaps your children will meet up with Steve right in their school.

We would be very happy if you would recommend us to any public or private schools, or pass our contact information on to administration at your children’s school, and we would arrange to come right to the school for lessons.

It was not an easy decision for Steve to make, but no one can be in 2 places at once so the last courses would be taught in Hloubětín in June 2008.

Looking to the future, Aaada will continue with intensive English nature camps, and not only in the summer. We’re planning a winter camp, and hope to go outside the Czech Republic for another. Around 40% of those who attended past camps return, and we’ll be happy to add you to that group. If you liked our school, come to our camps.

Other projects include: the development of our web site into space for English instruction for small children, and expanding the Aaada Shop, our internet store for educational supplies; DVD production and distribution of educational programs and games aimed at teaching English; Steve’s intensive weekends of English or special events with children and parents; Training and consultation for public and private schools in the Czech Republic and European Union.

We hope that you will carry away from Aaada many pleasant memories. We would thank you to recommend us to any of your friends and acquaintances.
